Topic moved, no biggie. Any quality pellet has veg content in it, but I like a more veg based one. I have used Hikari Excel, made for herbivorous Africans. I am currently using Northfin veg formula. NLS Algaemax, Omega1 kelp pellets are other options. All the major manufacturers have food designed for herbivorous fish. Good additions to Oscars diet. If the fish will take it, try raw veg and fruit pieces.

So I haven't gone out to get a veg based pellet but today I broke up some of my sinking wafers for the catfish "that I never use" and my O and Sevs destroyed it. That'd veg based right?

A majority of algae wafers are primarily fish meal based. Omega one Veggie rounds is more vegetable than most by having kelp and spirulina. New Life spectrum creates a algaemax with contains a variety of algae and seaweed, and is another good pellet based "veggie" food.
