I always wondered whats the best food for oscars...
Did some research & after reading many articles, I have selected some ingredients for my recipe....

To prepare 250 grams we need-

100 grams dried fishes-

100 grams dried shrimps-

50 grams good quality pellet food ( we can use hikari cichlid gold )

put all 3 together in a powerful blender & make fine powder. its ready.. very easy....

take 1 spoon powder & add few drops of water to make a dough..
make little balls & drop in front of your oscars....

you can add any kind of meds or vitamins easily with this food.

my all 3 oscars are MAD about this. they just get crazy & attack the small balls like its some kind of live food LOLZ....

I am feeding this food from last 15 days & fond that my oscars now seems more healthy, active and growing faster.....

Hope this recipe will help some oscar owners fighting with feeding issues .....

That sounds interesting, interesting to see if other people take it up. Certainly sounds healthy anyway

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)

i used to do the same before... but find it easier to keep fresh food frozen than making a dough every now and then...

this powder is dry so no need to freeze. you can store in an air tight container...

it takes only 10 min to to make dough n feed. so I think its not much time for our dear oscars if we are spending an hour or two everyday on just watching them or testing water or dealing wid other aquarium issues.....

i know it is dry powder... but i am telling you... it will get spoiled after few weeks if not consumed...
unless the dried fish and the dried shrimps are heavily salted which is bad to fresh water fish
