hi there

1. paul, from the vid, the aros look more like the g2 red, the distinctive yellow tail.
2. in Singapore, they are not expensive.
3. rather cheap, anything less than 100 bucks for a 12" piece.
4, honest, 1.5 red or g2 red are not popular; low-grade red aro.

1. wow! paul :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
2. this specimen is some beauty.
3. nice massive body, full pearlies and very high "shine".
4. looks like a xb or at least a "high-back rtg (redtailed gold)
5. if there is some willing buyer, the goldie can fetch a few thousand dollars in sin.
6. the only setback: its head is not goldhead.
7. thank you, paul.

hi there

1. honest, I am no professional but a hobbyist in aro and of course, Oscars.
2. there are some very expensive mature red aros that can fetch 10 thousand dollars.
3. back in 2011, there was news on some "convicted" individual in sin.
4. whom purchased an aro for 200k.
5. yes, no joking. it was on the news.

Eddie, i have no proof but this arowana was once featured in May 2007 to be the most
expensive arowana in the world @ 200,000.00 pounds... and in late 2011, it was featured
again and cost 4X more.... not sure if somebody is really wiling to shell out that much for a fish!

hi there

1. paul, you are correct on the platinum silver.
2. it did fetch a good price back then.
3. however, the full crossback/belly gold head and super red (G1 grade) still command superior.
4. at least in sin.
5. btw,. when I bagged my min min, super red (G1 grade) home back in 2011 when it was barely a 5.5" juvenile, it cost s$1,200.00.
