guys can you please tell me all info about a green arowana.like how big they grow,what is there temperment,what size of a tank they need ,and if they can be with oscars.

hi there


1. the greenie can grow to some 24" long in a big enough tank.
2. yes, oscars can be its tankmates.
3. although it is called green aro but its color is more silver with a fan tail.
4. in the east, we keep greenie in room-temp water.

Ben, i was at the local fish show that i mentioned to you...
there was a 12" super red crossback with spoon head... the tag price
was P80,000.00 = US$1,900.00...for an ordinary hobbyist who earn
US$ 1,200.00 a month, buying one is very impractical :P :P :P

1. paul, I guess it is cheaper in Singapore.
2. my min min, 16" super red has its both cheeks cracked.
3. its top begins to cross too.
4. at 16" for 1.5 years, it is still juvenile.
