That's what I'm thinking and to me it puts the emphasis on the fish, never mind its so much easier to clean

looks good ken they are moving around so much they look pretty happy in there!! so question how did you get the heater to a black color did it come like that?? they look really good

Its an aqueon pro, aluminum core covered with plastic no glass at all. I got it originally for my O so he wouldn't break the glass ones but its my biggest heater and will keep my 90g at 85 for the discus so they get it. Im really happy with it being black too it blends in well with the back

ken, i defitiley like the simple look you have going. keep it like that for a while. you can always add some manzanita or something else later. (if your like me, i get bored of the same look after a while, so i have to keep changin things up lol )

looks great. focus is 100% on the Discus in there.

I think that's what I'm going to do, its a happy medium between bare bottom and display tank and I can continue to power feed without worrying about stuff decomposing in the gravel

And I am like you I'll want to change it in 3-6 months so I'll just add some nice Manzanita wood, gives me time to find the right piece and save up for it
