Oh yea, he's pretty cool, but he's just going to get way too big for me to keep long term. I found a guy with a tiger shovelnose that wants to trade and has a pond he can go in, much better home for him in the long run.

Not particularly, but he does come up to greet me if I stand near the tank. Always looks like he's smiling too :D

Yep, they get very socialized from some of the videos I've seen of bigger ones.

RTC are very clever they just have big mouths, big bodies and big hearts. The love their tankmates so much they eat them :)

Back to the Gar Im going to set up tank with lots of cave so Ill put what Ive got in there and see from there. :)

There sholud be more gars about there not many people seem to keep them.

I'm living my life, but not necessarily in the right order :)

I tell you, i'm having the worst time trying to track down a gar that is close to me. The closest one I've found that won't get eaten in my tank is in the next state up on the map :P
