I saw him at the pet store and had to have him/her. He was the last one.
He's doing good everyone leaves him alone. I was wondering if
anyone could share their experiences with them.

We have several memebers that do own some I believe. Personally I dont have one , but I think they really are supposed to be kept in groups of 5 or more. I am sure someone else will be able to give you some more info soon.
They are quite cute and I have thought about getting some myself , but dont have a tank they would do well in atm.

When will see a pic of yours ?

corydoras sterbai by the looks of it, should be held in groups of at least 6, do best in groups of more then 10 :D they're your average bottom feeding cleanup crew that don't get bigger then 1.5" give a varied diet with some veggies, flake food, frozen food. I currently have 10 corydoras panda in my discus tank and 5 brochis splendens (emerald green cory) in my cichlid tank, they are fun to watch and anything that hits the grvel gets vacuumed by these guys.

Ok thanks. I'll take your guys advice and get a few more when the bio filter adjusts and their diet too. BTW I lost one of my fish, not physically, but her mind is gone. She was being bullied by the other balloon molly. The experience shows how important tall plants are and to get 1 male for at least 2 female in a community aquarium. I mean I added taller plants and bought a few shoaling fish, but its too late, her mind is already gone.

I have 8 of the Panda Corries in my tank, substrate should not be gravel with sharp bits as it will hurt their sensitive barbels:

Thanks larch, beautiful hat btw. Where can I get one? I can see why you and other people enjoy Corys. They are peaceful, energetic, and will scrape all the surfaces. They act like half catfish. half fish. Almost the manbearpig of aquatic life. He can move through about 50 inches of water in close to a second when he propels himself from the bottom to the surface and back to the bottom. It doesn't care about algae wafers. Zebra danios which stick exclusively to the very top knock down flake food. I also put a little bit of brine shrimp. Just haven't found a food he likes yet. The gravel is a little bigger than ideal but the gravel is rounded enough to where I don't anticipate injuries to his delicate areas. It's pretty amazing they can regenerate their barbels.

Read in an aquarium book (with a great picture) that it is a Corydoras haroldschultzi, also called Harald Schultz's Corydoras.
