Video from last night and when I got home today.

You can not really see them, but there are eggs in the pot

The eggs are dark, similar to the color of the pot. Is this good or bad?

Thanks, at least she can! Male is cruising around looking for food. I am in the process of shifting some things around to get the Fire Mouths out.

Here is a pic of the eggs, she is still protecting them, but I am not sure if any in the clutch are fertilized.

I realize the white ones are not, but what about the brown ones? I don't expect much from this first small batch, but hope to have better results in the future. Is it advisable to stay with normal wc when eggs are present, and if they don't hatch will she loose interest and return to normal behavior? Her tube is still down, is that normal?

Nice man! Gotta love that. Fertilized eggs are tan so sounds like yer good! They'll turn white with fungus within a couple days if they aren't fertilized. Good luck bud!

Thanks Guys,

By sheer luck i now have wrigglers in the tank. I thought the eggs had been eaten twice, but mom had just moved them. I had a hell of a time getting the Thorichthys meeki out of the tank, but finally settled them in a new 55 underneath the Carapintis tank. Here is an update of the fish.
