The smaller of the 2 has been hiding since yesterday, I did a 80% WC and haven't seen her since. I moved the log she hangs out by and now I have eggs.

They look great, and I was gonna say def a male and female, but I guess you already know that. Get ready for a lot of fry, mine have bred 4 times in about as many months (one batch of eggs got eaten by the previous batch of fry). Are there any other fish in the tank?

I don't think they are fertile, the male just hangs out while she spends her time in the log. They have some silver dollars in the tank with them and they let them swim thru the log?

How long does it take for eggs to turn color they appear to be still white?

Fertilized eggs should be tan from the get go, after a few days unfertilized will turn white and the parents will usually get rid of them. At least that has been my experience. I would guess that the female was interacting with a different male in the lfs tank, and the two you have may not have bonded yet. Mine usually interact intensely for about a week before the eggs show up, and it is obvious what is up.

99% of the eggs now appear to be tan, I can see a couple of white ones scattered thru the batch. How long do they usually sit on eggs?

Should have wigglers two to three days after laying and swimmers five to ten days after that.
