Ken the pic with the growth on the pectoral fin is an image from the web, mine is the first two images with a growth on the pelvic fin. My fault for using incorrect terminology.

Here is a video of Twitch that shows the growth pretty well.

I think your in the same boat as me just maintain water quality and observe, I would try to do water changes on separate days or make sure that's the last tank you change so as not to cross contaminate tanks with the same fill/siphon tubes or do water changes with quarantine tank specific equipment

WC taken care of, I will get another siphon for the other tanks. Yes there are still fish in there. This tank has been at this level twice this week. Ken should I move the other fish, it seems pointless at this time.

From what I have read yes you should remove the other unaffected fish if you have another unoccupied tank but I would still treat them with the same qt procedure as the affected fish.....if that makes sense

I think that makes sense. Isolate the one with the symptoms and do what is recommend by everyone on this site for the others, and hope they do not get it. This sucks Ken!

I know it sucks I dropped $60 bucks on 4 wild blue rams and have been dealing with it for 4 weeks and I'm about tired of looking at these damn growths, on a good note it is typically not fatal

It is not fatal for the parents, but what would you do with the fry? I really don't like the idea of killing them, but I would not feel good about putting them in the trade.

After doing some more homework, I don't think the fry will affected by the virus. Ken tried to point me in the right direction, but I was wallowing in self pity and half drunk after the Bama/Aggies game, and did not catch his post about the four week life cycle of the virus. I am still trying to get my action plan together, and will ask for advice on several different options a little later. No fry have been harmed! Thanks for checking in.
