Oh yeah, that's a M&F....better keep an eye on that, if they breed, The Dark Side will envelop that aquarium.......

THOSE WHO REFUSE KNOWLEDGE ARE DOOMED TO FAIL.

WATER CHANGES ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF THIS HOBBY. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE SO OR SIMPLY DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING THEM, RE-HOME YOUR FISH, SELL YOUR AQUARIUM & FIND ANOTHER HOBBY, AS YOU WILL FAIL UTTERLY, COMPLETELY, & MISERABLY.

Thanks guys, I got them at about 1" for $1.99 and they seem to be doing well. Is a 75 sufficient for the pair by themselves? I have an empty 50, and as soon as the last cold snap comes through I am adding a 125 for my dovii. My electric bill is off the charts with all the heaters I am running so I want to wait a few more weeks to add any tanks, and move any fish.

I find all my JD's are pretty slow growers, takes over a year to hit about 5ins, and my 2+yr old is around 9. 75g will be ok for quite a while I think

yup ultra slow growers ~ my female is 2 yrs old and about 5-6 inches ... i think that's all she can grow.....

75 will do ... but prefer a 90 for pair .....
