My bad on the movie posting. I'm sure Darth doesn't want this to turn into another movie thread. :blush:

Anyway, I agree with Sup. The quality of cars, Japanese and American made, has increased dramatically in the past couple of decades. I remember when getting 100,000 miles on a car meant it pretty much needed an engine rebuild, and if it was driven where they salt the roads in the winter, it was probably rusted out. Now days, it's not unusual at all to get 200,000 on a car and the body still be relatively rust free.

Of course, cars are much more expensive now. That '77 Trans Am I posted the picture of probably only cost around $6000 brand new.
