Klinik Fish Care Antiseptic

Kry-KL1 It is not uncommon for fish to develop wounds, infections, legions that may require medication. In most cases, wounds will heal up by themselves if the water quality is good. Being a fisherman here in the UK, I enjoy going fishing in local lakes and ponds, I care very much for their welfare and would never intentionally put a fish at risk from developing infection or injury. Therefore I carry at all times an anti-septic medication called Klin-ik that if needed can be applied to the fish when it's out of the water. Normally the fish they catch are in good condition and medication is only required occasionally for areas where the hook has been.

Klinik is marketed towards carp which is why most people who keep tropical fish may not have heard of it. However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with using it on your Oscars, in fact I recently used it on one of my Red Oscars when it developed some very nasty legions on either side of its head. To be honest, I have no idea why the Oscar suddenly started developing these horrible rooms, my water is always kept in pristine condition so I was rolling out water quality problems. Having said this, from my experience Oscars can sometimes ailments for no reason at all, they are just the sort of fish that seem susceptible. Now these legions continued to worsen over a three or four week period, I did everything I could including calling the vet out, not so much to diagnose the problem, more to enable me to maybe get some medication that is only available from the veterinarian here in the UK, well that was a complete waste of time and I will never waste my money calling a veterinarian out again. Then I remembered I had a bottle of Klinik in my tackle box so I thought I might as well give it a go. After a struggle catching the Oscar, we applied the medication to both wounds, kept the Oscar out of the water for a couple of minutes so the antibiotic medication had a chance to soak into the area properly. Even a couple of days after applying the antibiotic, the wounds stopped getting worse and now four weeks later are 95% better. I think it's too much of a coincidence to say that Klinic was not directly responsible for having a dramatic effect on the Oscars condition.

To be honest, I have no idea whether Klinik is sold outside of the United Kingdom, for this reason I have included a link to an online shop here in the UK where you can obtain this antibiotic medication. I've also included the description for you to read. If this particular online store will not ship abroad, Google "Klin-ik or Klinik carp UK" and you will find numerous outlets here in the UK that sell this product, one of them is sure to ship outside of the UK.
