any african cic. pros in here? i am cycling a 30x12x18 inch tank right now and i am wanting to put some africans in there..... any suggestions on how many adults and what sexes i should get? i have been looking at some very pretty blue ones....not sure what species though.... thanks in advance

srry im not to clued up with africans but sum of the nicest tanks in the world are african chiclads. electric yellow,zebras ect. keep us posted with sum pics once u get setup

with the size of your tank i think you should find a species that doesn't get to big. maybe a 3.5" fish then you can have a few of that species in your tank. however make sure that the males aren't to aggressive or you can run into probs during mating. and make sure if your housing several species that they get along when there mature.
