Unfortunately, this is a risk you take when you mix different types of fish. Cichlids can be particularly difficult. If he keeps getting a hard time, you may have to find a new home for him

Two questions:

A) How big is you tank?
How big are your fish?

I keep CA cichlids with my oscar, in fact, i just bought a new one yesterday(jack dempsey cichlid). Keeping Africans with oscars can be risky, however. Some Africans grow large enough to even bully oscars, in some cases, to death(no, an electric blue is not one of them).

Yeah, an electric blue cichlid requires a minimum of 50 gallons, and can reach 7'' if you don't know that already. I'll try and upload some pics of my fish, haven't had to do that yet, so it might take a while for me to figure it out
