What tank for beta 10 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I was wondering what tanks people had for their betas. Some of the tanks I've seen for sale I just tiny. However, I believe the beta does find itself living in small puddles so I don't suppose they need a lot of water in some circumstances I'd be interested to know how people keep their betas

Doesn't anybody have a betta on here? I'm amazed at how smaller tank you actually need for one betta. But then again, I suppose it makes sense since these fish do find themselves living in Little puddles in their native environment.

I have 2 Bettas. They each live in a 10 gallon tank, with tankmates. I've read that some Bettas won't live with any other fish, but neither of mine have a problem. (One lives with Cardinal tetras, one lives with Giant Ramshorn snails.)

I used to have several bettas, however they all died with old age(well, i accidently left one in the car while moving in the middle of winter and he froze because i fell asleep )

I've kept them in several tanks, though nothing smaller than two gallons. In the wild they live in huge rice fields where although the water is shallow(as low as 2'' in some areas) it can be thousands of gallons in total because they are so widespread. They can also be found in smaller puddles as you mentioned, however not much smaller than the size of your average rug and three or so inches deep.

Cheers,
Art
