Something is wrong then. Just to refresh my memory I went and looked it up. The normal "gestation" period for a Female Guppy is 28 days and can range anywhere from 20-40 days. But generally once a month they do give birth. Does your guppy have the tell tale dark gravid area in her belly? Quite possibly she isn't pregnant because maybe you don't have a good male with her? Guppys are as bad as rabbits and the only other possibility is that she has been having her babies and you missed it and they all were eaten, which is not uncommon if there are other fish in that tank too. Gups are almost perpetually pregnant...

A couple of the guppies that are quite fat have like a black mark on the back of their bellies. Not sure if there is any significance to that

The gravid spot is where the babies are. The longer into pregnancy the darker that spot will become. You will also see the female guppy grow wth girth too but generally you can begin to gauge this dark spot for nearness of delivery.

The gestation period of a guppy is 22-30 days. The average gestation period is 28 days. After the female guppy is inseminated, a dark area near the anus, known as the gravid spot, will enlarge and darken. Guppies prefer water temperatures of about 28 °C (82 °F) for reproduction. After giving birth, the female is ready for conception within a few hours. Guppies are known to exhibit superfetation, that is, the maintenance of batches of embyros at various states of development. The female guppy has drops of between 2-200 fry, normally about 30 to 60.

I have definitely got three females and two males, one of the males is quite small. If I can, I will take some photos of the female if it comes close to the front of the glass. Just noticed your pictures, yes, my females have both got the spot, just like the photo. Somebody told me that they can hold on to the young if conditions are not right for the young. Not sure if this is true or not

Males are always much smaller, but they get their part of the equation done regardless of size. In fact, they go right after the females shortly after the females give birth and thats why they say you need to keep 2 females to every male or the female will not get any rest whatsoever. Females can get pretty big (compared to males) especially older mature ones and they (older ones) are the ones who have potential to deliver 200 babies at one shot. Yes I have heard that females can hold off on delivery if conditions are not good and it's some sort of internal abortion for lack of a better term. Yet, females are almost always pregnant in one stage or another. But in a guppy only tank, they will be spitting out babies regularly and I envision having almost one delivery per week, give or take. There is little stress in a guppy only tank, except for the eagerness and attention of the males to females.
