hi penn,

got my geophagus braziliensis from maidstone aquatics in plymouth on crown hill. i got three at the time they were bout three inches in size and cost £6.50 each. i grew them on before adding them to my oscar tank but they all turned out to be males, one seemed to bully the others and grow faster so i sold the two smaller and kept the larger one. as geophagus goes they`ve got balls and can stick up for themselves,
now he`s about 8 inches, he started having a growth spurt.
i saw a huge one in aquator bout a year ago it was about 12" in size, really stunning when there older thats what made me want one. aquator had a 6" one just before xmas dont know if they still got it.

as for bristlenose be worth seeing them first. i got mine from andy at cherry brook, it was out the back. have you asked him if he can get any for you as i remember he had some fully growm albino ones not that long ago.
