Question? 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I have a small Oscar who we just got about 3 weeks ago. We put him in our tank with our fish who is very big. They get along great but today I have noticed my Oscar is always swimming by or on my other fish..non stop! What his he doing?

I have no idea, as long as he is not fighting and seems like a healthy fish, I shouldn't worry

My other fish is in the cichlid family; I feel bad for him because my lil' Oscar is up is you know what all the time! = ) My feeling about it is that the Oscar wants some love..LOL I guess your right; as long as they are not fighting it shouldn't be a big deal! It's just strang. Now our lil' Oscar is lossing his scales, but we retreated the tank again..so hopefully he'll be okay...Though when the lil' Oscar goes off away from Big Blue..Blue goes and checks on him..so maybe he doesn't mind...(Thank you!)

some africans need different water chemistry and dietary needs. do you what kind of afrcian is he? there are also some africans that are vegetarian while most south american cichlids need protein in their diets for healthy growth.
