Emergeny angelfish is dying!!! 2 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
I know this isn't an oscar problem but I could still use some help! I woke up this morning to feed my 29 gallon angelfish tank and my angelfish was lying on the gravel. What's wrong? The colors are really dark on her when I touched her with the net she reactred and swam up but she kept falling upsidown. I don't know what's wrong? The tempeture is normal and so is the PH. The other fish seem perfetly fine?

PLz Help!

Okay, you've mentioned the ph but you haven't said anything about ammonia, nitrite or nitrate. Any time a fish show signs of ill health, water test is essential. Just because the rest of the fish seem okay, it doesn't mean that everything is okay. So please test for ammonia nitrite and nitrate.

Obviously it is very difficult for me to diagnose what could be wrong. However, the fish could be showing signs of the swimbladder disorder. The problem with this type of ailment is it is very often untreatable. What I would advise you to do is check the water. If everything seems okay, monitor the fish for a while, if you have got a hospital tank you can put in, please do so, make sure it cycled first. Obviously you're going to really need a tank that has already set up because it's not really feasible to wait six weeks. Really is the best advice I can give you as I haven't really got a lot of information to go on
