Well, you have not given us much information. First thing you need to do is test your water, there is a possibility there is something wrong. The fact that your fish is breathing heavily means it is probably suffering from severe stress and/or may be being poisoned by ammonia or nitrite. You should also check to make sure that your tank is being oxygenated properly, now we are heading into summer, hot weather can reduce the amount of oxygen in the water so it's always best to check that you have enough surface agitation, or put an air stone in the tank to add extra oxygen.


We need to know what your water parameters, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH. Without knowing what your water is doing, it really is impossible to help

I've been keeping fish long enough to know that they can suf from many many ailments so it is sometimes very difficult to treat fish
