I JUST GOT 2 OSCAR FISH ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO. THEY WERE BOTH FINE AND ALL OF A SUDDEN ONE IS DEAD AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK. WHAT'S UP? THEY LOOKED LIKED THEY MAY HAVE BEEN FIGHTING JUST BEFORE OR MAYBE PLAYING. I DON'T KNOW BUT NOW ONE IS DEAD.

firstly how long was your tank set up for and was it properly cycled. these are important questions to elimate some reasons why your new fish died.also what are the results of your water tests ammonia nitrite and nitrates these to are important for your fishes wellbeing.and thirdly how big is your tank and do you have any tankmates with them?

Most of the problems people have with fish is because of water quality. If your water isnt good it can kill fish. If your oscars are babies i would doubt one killed the other. As necromancer asks how long was the tank set up for and was it cycled. The best thing you can buy is a test kit, it will save you a lot of expense and heartache (i know this from experience). When you have got it can you post the test results please. You need to test for Ph, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate
