welcome to the site. We are always very keen to help newcomers understand the world of the Oscarfish so stick around and don't be frightened to ask any questions that you may have, however trivial they may sound.
just remember there is a time difference so if you ask a question it might not get answered for a few hours because I think your something like eight hours in front of us (UK)

I have had Oscars for years, i hope you enjoy your fish. I have mine fish spoiled. They won't eat pellets, they eat flakes. I took the heater out of their tank because they pulled it away from the tank and played with it. So to keep them safe i removed the heaters. One will only eat at night one will eat any time. They also let me hold and rub them in the water and they look forward to that. The older one is almost 12 inches long and the other is almost 9 inches long.I enjoy the upkeep of my fish i love to see the crystal clear water in their tanks. They even notice when someone strange comes in the house.
