Albino Swordtails 1 Year, 2 Months ago
I have never before seen "albino" swordtails or to me it even looks "pink". I have a very productive swordtail and every ± 28 days I have a brand new batch of swordies - with every batch there are a few "pink" babies - the first 2 batches' babies are already nice, big fishes and the pink ones stays pink. You can nearly see through them! They get fed live brine shrimp once a day and you can see the color of their tummies! What exactly do you call it or is it just plain "albinos"?

I am not really familiar with sword tails. For something to be true albino, it mustn't have any colour pigmentation and normally has pink eyes. It has got colour, then it isn't really an albino. You would have to see if there is actually an albino sword tail listed anywhere.

Sorry, not much help

Fish shops call anything that is white or pink coloured when the normal isnt white or pink, "albino". As oscarfishlover said a true albino has no colour and pink eyes

Interesting! We were sold an albino tiger oscar... she has pink eyes, but has the orange tiger marks on her body. Is this an albino tiger oscar? Her body is mostly light pink.
