Sorry for the delay guys. Things have gotten really buys for me with work and family stuff.
Nemo is doing great. He just started developing his eye-spot on his tail. He is on a diet of bloodworms. He still will not touch any kind of pellet, flake, dried or frozen foods. I'm starting to think he is going to be an Albino Tiger. His underside is pretty white, and most of his black has dulled to a pinkish gray. I think he is ready to be put in with some other oscars. I am going to have my local shop order me some red babies. He's about 2 inches now.
Here is a comparission of his development right when he was born
and now today October 23rd
It's amazing what I've learned about Oscars the past few months, and to see the changes and stages of develompnet of nemo.
The fry that were born on Sept. 29th are still doing good. I have put up a video on my site.
You can see them here
They are eating adult brineshrimp, and have tried to introduce them to freeze-dried bloodworms, and some of them will eat them.
They fry that were left with the parents didn't fair too well. I woke up one morning and for no apparent reason, almost all of them were gone. I did manage to net out about 6 of them. The ones I got out are doing good.
