The babies born Sept. 29 are about 1 inch now, and doing well. They are eating everything in site.

I also had a batch of babies just hatched the the other day, Nov. 3rd. They just became free swimming last night, and go their first dose of baby brine shirp a few hours ago. I don't have a good count yet, but I would say about 60 or so. Their were a few more, but died before they made it to free swimming.

Here are a few pics for you of the Sept. 29th babies. As you can see, they are looking pretty good. Most of them look like tigers, but there are a few that have lost their black stripes.

Pics taken today Nov. 9th

The colour of the nemo will not just be decided by the parents but could result from the fact that in the past there have been some red genes in one of the parents parents. I had the odd red thrown up in a tiger x albino spawn. I doubt whether your youngens have been underfed by the breeders its there job to get them to grow as quick as they can. dont forget that Nemo has been on his own and compared to breeders you have lavished attention on him. the ones you bought are probably competing with hundreds of others for food on a Thai fish farm and have had to be transported form one country to another.

Re:New Eggs 10 Months, 4 Weeks ago
I just wanted stop in and give everyone a quick update. Nemo is doing very good with his new tankmates. I did wake up the other morning, and he had a big scratch on his side. He must have got in a fight with one of the others, and rubbed against one of the rocks. No big deal, it is healing up fine. The baby reds are getting a bit fatter and looking good.

The Sept. 29th babies are looking very good. They are starting to get big and eating alot. They are such beggers. I could feed them all day long, and they will still beg for more food. They get so excited at feeding time, I had one jump right out of the tank when I dropped some food in. I was lucky, I cought it in mid air, and it never hit the floor.

I will try and post some pics later.
