Hey, these are really good photos of fertilised eggs, you don't often get them this good. Probably because they are on a white surface. Would you mind if we use them on Oscarfishlover.com? Of course I will credit you with the photo.

Sure you can use the pics.

Is there a point where I should consider the eggs dead? Will they change color or anything when they become too old to hatch?

You have a talent with photography. Get as many photos as you can. In fact, send them to my personal e-mail address and I will sort through the ones that are the best

Don't worry, your eggs are definitely fertilised. You'll probably find that many of the eggs will not be fertilised. The problem you've got is when the fry eventually get through the yoke sack, you will have to start reading them. You can't do is feed them on normal food, try and get some baby brine shrimp, sometimes the shop sells them. I don't think you've got time to start breeding them because I doubt you've got the equipment

Thanks for the comments. I have been taking pictures almost as long as I have been caring for fish. Having a good camera makes a big difference. These pictures were taken with a 9 megapixel digital camera, and the one of the wiggler was taken from the bottom of the tank with the macro setting. I will get the pictures together, and send them to you.
