Re:New Eggs 1 Year ago
Well, I was gone for a few hours tonight, and when I walked in, I saw the end of a new batch of eggs being laid. By the time I got my camera out, they were finidhed. But I do have a comformation now, that my Tiger is the female, and my albino tiger is the male. They were swimming in a circle with the tiger laying doen rows of eggs, and the albino right behind her going over them. I did do a water change this morning, maybe the fresh water was what they were waiting for.

My one fry from the last batch is still doing very good. He is looking more and more like an oscar every day.

I will try and get some new pictures in a little bit.

Now I just need to decide if I want to take the eggs out, or give them another chance at doing it themselves. This will be their 4th set of eggs.

Have you got some that will take the fry off your hands if you do end up with several hundred? Bear that in mind before you start trying to save them all.

Anyway, look forward to seeing some more photos

Well, I woke up this morning, and they had already destroied all their eggs. I guess the next batch, I will remove right after they lay them.

I have already started making plans if I get a large set of hatched babys. I am building a Fish room that will house all my tanks. When that is finished my two adult oscars will be moved into my 220 gallon tank, and then I have a 125gallon, 90 gallon, and a 75 gallon tank They will all be hooked up on one central filtration system. Then I have about 10 10gallon, and 6 40 gallon tanks just sitting here that will be set up. I already talked to a local store owner, and he is willing to buy some of the fish from me, and he is going to put me in contact with his wholesalers if I end up with a lot of fish.

Here are some updated Day 24 Pictures. He is now eating larger sub-adult Brineshrimp. He is really starting to look like an Oscar now.
