Not sure, looks a bit moth-eaten they may have lost some colour which doesn't make it easy when you're looking through a book. I'm sure somebody will know

Poor guys were given too me by a friends friend,if some body no's id be greatfull.Ill post another pic when they have regenerated.

Looks like some labyrinth fish to me. So I checked quickly among those, my guess would be Belontia something or a close relative from the pics I've seen. The tail fin is normal like that. Personally no clue, maybe if nobody here knows, they could tell you in some Anabantoids forum.
