Hi Guys i Thought id post a pic of the newest member to my family he is a little 6inch Arowana and is currently in a quarintene tank for a few weeks untill he moves to the bigger tank.

The picture isnt the best as im no good with taking pics but here he is:

Well congrats!
I seem to remember there are several species or varieties of arowanas, do you know which one you've got? Awsome fish, wish i'd see one for real sometime lol.
Got the garage empty already for its future tank?

Its A Silver Arowana but it has lots of red in it so ill see when he grows up.

Wow, nice arowana. It's definately a silver. Red fins is normal, aros can aquire them if they're feed fish/crickets that are "gut loaded" or fed on carrots or kept in tank a certain type of light(hagan-glo if i remember correctly).

thanx artemis he is really good looking and has lots of red in him still a baby though so im sure hes only been living of brine shrimp and small live food like that.


at the rate my guppies are breeding i might be able to spoil him fior a bit longer
