well over the weekend i decided to sort mt tank out and give it a makeover, lol it was like i was doing 60 minute makeover on it, i had in my cuboard 3 nice pieces of bogwood so once i gave the sand a nice clean i decided to put the pieces of wood in, and now i think it looks amazing , will you guys and gals have a look and tell me wah you all fink????

well it looks a lot better than it did lets say 3 months ago , ive changed over from gravel 2 sand, THATS WAS A MUST!, then i took out all ornaments pots, treasure chests ETC then i soaked my bog wood for a gd 2 weeks , ive used it before in the same tank before i had any oscars, i had it in my community set-up, now i think it looks a hell of alot better , wouldn you lot think???? without a shadow of a doubnt i would prefer sand over gravel any day of the week, and im sure that the oscars prefer it too, with the sand it looks alot more of a cleaner enviroment, and with the bog wood it makes it look like a real river bed, with washed up pieces of wood

How many oscars do you have? I have 1 oscar ina 55 gallon. How fast will he grow?

Your tank looks good ashley. Will look even better when your oscars gets bigger

Beavis they grow an inch a month (roughly) until they got to about 8 or 9 inches then the growth rate slows

well its like delboy just said they will grow very rapidly at least an inch a month, then the growth rate slows down as they get to a decent size, del boy how long will it be before my tank gets too overstocked, i know that the plecs can grow huge so once they get too big for my 70g i will have to let them go to one of my mates, but what about the convicts will they be ok for a bit??????
