worms at the aquarium sandbed 3 Months ago

Good Day!
I just want to find out if anybody among aquarium enthusiast had an experience with the worm under the sand beddings. Lately, when my oscars moved the sand for spawning, I observed there are several worms about 5 mm long moving around. Eventually, the worms becomes meal for the oscars. When I checked the overhead filtering mediums, there are indeed small worms in it. When I dropped those worms inside the aquarium, my oscars have feast on them.
Is it normal to have small worms under the sand beddings?

Sounds like Planarian. Basically, these are free swimming parasites that thrive if you overfeed. They sometimes get into the tank on live plants. What you describe sound like flatworms. I shouldn't worry, they will cause no harm to your fish.

I also have worms...well they look like worms but i am unsure as to what they actually are.
I can see them on my glass and my Oscar has moved a big patch of gravel from the bottom of the tank, which has revealed a whole bunch of them under the gravel! On closer inspection, there are LOTS of them, all embedded in the gravel, some floating in the water.
I can see some clearly on my Oscar, though they don't appear to be bothering him. I cannot seem to get rid of these things and have no idea what they are. I thought they were monogenetic flukes and i've just put parasite medication in (Trichloroform) which doesn't appear to be working.
I have used Fermeldehyde medication in the past but they just keep coming back...I have gone to shops where the only thing they have suggested is doing a whole tank clean out, but at the moment my fish is too big to move anywhere - i don't have anywhere else for him to go while i complete such a big job!
I just want to know if anyone else has ever had these things, and if they will hurt my Oscar??? They are too small to eat, they are just visible to me, like little squiggly white lines...
HELP!!!!

Without actually seeing them, it is difficult to say what they are. However, they do rather sound like planarian which are free swimming parasites. These are found in the gravel, and often have a glass. These parasites won't cause any harm to your fish. However, you did say you could see some on your fish. It could well be the case that because are so many of them, they are getting on your fish.
I suppose taking a photo is going to be difficult? I don't like to give it myself with a conclusive answer unless I can actually see some evidence. By the way, welcome to oscarfishlover
