Re:My Oscar will not eat 7 Months, 4 Weeks ago
How do test for ammonio, nitrite and nitrate? Also, my fish hasn't eaten in 2 weeks now. He has a bubble coming out of his bum and PETCO thinks he could have eaten a rock, which is the reason why they think he's has blockage... He's not looking good at all. As soon as I find out how to check for A, N and N, I'll post the results.. Thanks!

You can buy test kits at most fish shops. PETCO should sell them. Dont get the strips as they tend not to be as accurate at the liquid ones (with bottles). In the meantime i would suggest doing a large 50% water change (dont forget to turn your heaters off for this) followed by daily 20% changes

I need some advice now please and all be great and helping me out! Well Tantrum isn't eating which I've been told and I know this may be true too that when introduced into a new tank they well stress but give it time the fish will start eating right?

Tyke and Tantrum been staying around each other and today I gave Tyke his normal two feeders that he eats and a blood worm gumdrops that work very well for him..Just that Tantrum doesn't eat from me yet which she/he has before but now not again I'm thinking it's the new tank feel and needs to know where everything is and then should I start introducing food to Tantrum again?

Yes, a stressed fish won't eat. However, how long have they been in this new tank for? Have you tested the water?
