Re:Random Sample of Oscar Foods 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago
When I got my oscar he was about 4 inches and I filled his belly before I went away for 3 days and when I came back he was fine, but really hungry. I'm sure your oscar would be fine for a few days unfed, but it's probably not good to starve a baby oscar often cause they need to eat often and have good nutrition. As for the oscar not eating the pellets I would not feed the oscar for the camping trip if it is only for a week or less. And by the time your back your oscar will eat those pellets no problem cause it's gonna be hungry. Sometimes if you feed your other tasty foods, it will get spoiled and want only the tasty food. By starving your oscar it will give up and eat the pellets because it gets too hungry to care. As for the automated feeder during your trip if your oscar doesn't eat the food being dropped in, it will make your water conditions unsuitable and could cause problems. But you might want ot get other people's advice too with more experience. Good Luck.

ive tried other krill ... theese are by far the best quality you can get def worth the extra money. as you can see they come in dif sizes there mostly the big ones but theres some small ones in there too. really anything hikari makes is good all the way down to pond pellets. the o's sometimes accually jump out of the water for theese(i think they reconize the orange cap) before i can get em in the tank!
