even though the fish can go without food for quite a long time, I would like to put a healthy Oscar through this, it really isn't fair. If there is absolutely no possibility of somebody coming in to feed the fish, there are automatic fish food dispenses on the market. I found one particular type in less than a minute, have a good look, that don't cost very much and can dispense pellets every few hours, that will keep your Oscar happy when you are away.

You could have someone come and feed them once and a while. They wouldn't need food daily, but every few days would be beneficial.

blocks are Not really for oscars, more for small fish, I'll go with the auto feeder, or a friend
