pleco sucking on Oscar fish 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago  
Hello all, My pleco will try to suck on my little o. He does have some scales missing. I think its mostly at night when he sleeps. sometimes during the day.

Yes, this is something that can happen on occasions. pleco's are nocturnal so probably do it when the Oscar is asleep.if I was in your position, I would lose the pleco. If this continues, the Oscar could end up in a real state. The pleco will just cause an ulcer to develop on the Oscar which could easily get infected. Remember the slime coat is there for a reason, it is there to help protect the fish from infection.

my oscar is covered in little scratches..i thought it was due to chasing the other fish around.. he evan has a scale missing inthe centre of his head..!
