When the new people take over the shop and we know that they are not selling any type of artificially coloured fish, this post should either be deleted, alternatively, we could make a point of praising them for not carrying on this disgusting practice, at least it would give them a plug anyway.

Agreed OFL. I know the new owners wont sell these type of fish because they dont sell them in their current shop. Will post when they move into the shop mentioned above

Phoned the bloke to make my feelings clear to him and he said the fish are not tattooed. He reckons they are dyed on the scales and its harmless. From what I have heard the general expected opinion is they it may be painful and is harmful long term

im new to the site and i cant quiet belive wat ive just read i never new this went on ive never heard of such things being done with fish it so discusting makes you sick to think wat some human beings do to innocent fish and animals

why would anyone want a loveheart on there fish , its just sick. is it not better to see a fish in its natural form
