I commented on that video on you tube and I think I upset him a little bit, what a shame he says that he walked into a fish store and film the sequence. I can't believe that a fish store would do something like that. I can't work out whether I could hear an English, or an American accent. In the UK, it is illegal to feed live animals to snakes. If that's the case, should it be illegal to feed live fish to fish?

Yeah, it makes me so sad to see that crap. In the wild sharks prey on fish that are injured or sick(I'm a shark fan, i came across the video on www.sharkraycentral.com). Poor guy. I'm not 100% sure that the fish was actually at an lfs, people tend to say stuf like that when others get mad at them...then again i can't imagine him keeping a black tip.

I think its cruel to feed live fish to another fish, at least in the wild the prey has a chance to escape

Lots of people feed small fish to oscars, this video is exactly the same but with bigger fish. If you feed your oscar small fish but dont like this video i would suggest you stop feeding live fish to your oscars

On a side note, i thought a freshwater fish went mental when put into saltwater. This oscar didnt go mental

FW fish can survive up to 30 minutes is SW depending on the species. After that they croak and die.

definatly looks like a lfs to me with the rest of the tanks in the backround and loads of bulk food tubs ect laying near tanks. i dont agree woth feeding live fish oscars ect but i realy dnt mind feeder fish which are bread soley for the purpose. ive fed mine them ocasionaly but i dont sit and watch in plesure just feed check its gone and be done with it. not into the whole feed it a live one for fun
some sick people out there thou
