My new Family!

Thanks for all the help on my new oscars. It's been alot of help for me to learn about taking care of my new family members, i hope to keep them for a very long time . i'm not really sure if there are boy and girl but i named them casper and ivy! i'd like to upload some photos of them but i really don't know how to, If someone can tell me how to put the photos up it would mean alot to me thanks for everything, Ronnie Jacksonville FL.

Amazing!

I really almost never write in guest books but this is the best website I have found as far as information on Oscars.  I have been keeping oscars for over six years now and i consider myself an intermediate to advanced aquarium addict.  However, your website would have been incredibly helpful to come across about six years ago when i was first starting out.  It is hard to find so much information that is so thorough, and i really wanted to say thank you for committing to publishing this website so others can benefit from the knowledge.

What an informative website!
I wanted to learn about Oscars because I enjoy the antics of my daughter and son-in-law's Oscar.  Up until the 2007 local ice storm disaster my 72 gallon tank had community fish.  Being without electricity for over 8 days killed all of them even though I tried to maintain oxygen by making water changes and neutralizing the added water.  However, there was no way to maintain enough heat in the water since the house temperature was below 50 degrees.  I am considering starting anew with an Oscar.  I never dreamt I could find so much information in one place!  Thanks.  Jack from Tulsa OK

This is Awesome
I really appreciate your site.  I would like to be member.  I would like to get flyers from you and updates.  This site has made it more exciting.  I hope I do a good job taking care of my fish.  My husband wanted oscars so now we have them.   And we love them.

Thanks!
The information provided on this site prepared me to purchase my first Oscar!  He's a cute, 2 inch albino baby, named Romeo in honor of Valentine's Day.  I suspect I will be visiting this site often to gather even more Oscar knowlege as Romeo grows.

Enjoying my Oscars

I have been reading this site since I found it. It is very informative, and I love the video. I have had my Oscars for 7 months now and they are about 7 in. I really enjoy their company, and so does my girlfriend. I mostly feed mine live feeder fish every few days. But when I give them pellets they willl eat out of my head. That shows me that they love their home. And when I come into the house they seem to know because they come up against the glass and look for me. This also happens when I wake up in the morning they might still be sleeping, But when they know I am up they start swimming. Thanks for this site and all the helpful information, I feel so much closer to my Oscars now. And they do have names " Big Papa and Baby girl. I think they are male and female.
