Thank you
Thank you for all of you great information. I have 2 oscars who have lately been doing some wierd things. They have actually been relocating the plants I have for decoration, and placing them in a pile. They both work together on this, so I was wondering if it was some nest building thing, so I searched around on the internet. I came across your site and have read quite a bit on these guys. Then just this morning, they were in the "jaw locking" mode. They did this several times then began swimming in circles with each other face to tail. I don't know what will come of this, but your website is fantastic in helping me understand their behavior. I do have a flat rock(has been there since day 1) but they haven't done anything with that. I got these guys when they were just tiny babies and they have been wonderful pets. Thanks again for all the info. ~Stephanie - Madison, WI USA~

Hi I would like to say that I am a cichlid addict. I have had quite a few different africans in the last few years. My husband has always wanted a Oscar but I had the problem of where to put it. Well I read your site from top to bottom and it was a great help, now I have a 5 x 2 x 2 foot tank ordered - that is all I can fit in with all the other tanks I have. Our family room is slightly crowded - my husband says it is like sitting in underwater world! I have purchased an Albino and it is a little sweetie, I know, it wont stay small for long, however it certainly has an appetite like I havent seen before! Thanks again for your great site! thanks so much!!
i just wanted to say that i was thinking about starting my first oscar tank project and didn't even think to research it on the net until a friend said in passing that i should, after making my local fish shop staff a little impatient with me asking some pretty basic q's i thought i had a fairly good grip on the scenario, soo glad i looked you guys up because now i know that these people know nothing at all about keeping aquariums in general let alone oscar aquariums these amazing little critters are so charming and have so much personality i think i would have been quite cruel going on they're advice, you guys have given me the confidence that i'm going to be a reasonably good parent to the new additions to my little family and i wanted to thank you for your advice, honesty and all round love and entheusiasm for oscar fish keep up the good work and kudos to the people who started this site and all who use this invaluable information to care for they're animals.
