ant and dec my oscars
Hi, drifting by on a wave I saw the magic word 'Oscar'. I have a pair that I have had to separate recently due to aggression and they are growing very nicely thank you.  As usual, they love being fed by hand and take the food excitedly but gently.  Unfortunately one does have a mishaped bottom lip due to a mouth tussle, but it s looking good and doesnt seem to bother him/her.  I love your site and will be keeping an eye open for any developments. Thanks also for the words of help and advice...keep it up, first class.

My introduction
Well, howdy!  My name's Mark.  I have been wanting a nice fish tank for many years now and finaly got off my lazy butt and did some research on oscars.  This was the first website I came across and I imedeatley bookmarked it.  Went to a few others but none compared.  A few months back I finaly got a tank, 2 oscars (1 albino, 1 tiger), and 2 bottom feeders.  Not sure the name of the catfish, and was very skeptical about buying them, but they have turned out to be some of the most beautiful fish I've ever seen.  I will be glad to upload some pics but I'm not satisfied with the tank decorations I have .   Any ideas/suggestions feel free to drop me a line.  Thanks for the help with my first tank setup, it will not be my last.

informative useful
hi there 1. i had assisted my late father keeping oscars since i was a young person back in 70s.2. i have always adored oscars.   we had 3 tiger oscars.3. now, i have my own home what i have is 4 red oscars bought since may 2007 when they were just 1" long. at present, 2 are 7" long and the other two are about 6".   4. i have another 3 tiger oscars bought since june 2007.   they are now about 4.5" long.   they are kept in a second tank.5. what i feed them are hir bio-gold+ which both red & tiger love, live red meatworms and frozen bloodworms.   twice a day.6. i shall start feeding prawns from this wednesday onwards.7. water change is twice a week.  on wednesday (some 25%) and saturday (75%).   yes, i must admit that oscars are some messy eaters.   daily, i have to physcially removed waste (that float on the top).   yes, i have installed a filteration system.   i have yet named any of my oscars which i love to.   in fact, i began "stroking" each of the red oscars which they did not resist.8. your website contains the most informative and useful articles that i find suitable for my perusal and updating.9. honest, i learnt so much from your contributions.   i am indeed grateful to you and to the other oscar lovers whom had contributed in the forum page.10. however, oscars have lost some of its popularity in singapore since arowana and flowerhorn appear in the local scene.11. please keep up the good work, pretty enjoyable and knowlegeable.12. thank you.
