All of these I have fed to my Oscars and they have eaten... Most of them they like, grapes not so much... But they eat the rest of it.. I stay away from things that are full of Starch, things that will make people gassy, and things like Tomatoes and Oranges as they are full of Acid..

Hope this helps

Thanks Nicki. I've seen this post before but forgot to save it. Lucky, I don't have to search for it. hehe.

Tried my O's on grape today.
They chewed on it a bit, than spat it out.
They do like peas and carrots though.

Do Oscar's HAVE to have fruit and/or any form of vegetation? Is this a must?

Its not a MUST as in you need to give them fruit and veg on the side. All high quality pellets have vitamin and veg content built in. As Oscars should have a varied diet, fruit and veg make for good additions to the staple diet. If your fish will eat fruit, that's a bonus for their overall long term health.

Hehehe, whenever I see that list I always imagine me tossing in a complete pineapple...and scaring the living daylights out of my Oscars!
Mine will eat anything that hits the water but I rarely feed them fruits.
But little pieces of grape ,mango or peach do seem to please them.
