Does anyone know someone who keeps, or has one of these unusual oscars? I was looking in to them. . .

I myself have never seen one in person.

Need to give away one healthy 1 year old Oscar if you know of anyone interested. See the adoption thread for photos. Thanks!

I saw a baby one(and i mean just 1) for sale that was 3 times the price of a standard oscar. Personally i think they look weird

I think it would be cool to breed them with blue fire oscars. These are oscars that are all black except for a watery blue in the middle, and no, these are not dyed, they're a variety of red tiger.

If you lived down in Australia Tasmania, in Hobart, There's a pet shop just up the road from me, where I got my oscar, and they have been getting in over the past 7 months beautiful veil tails, and at the same price of normal breed. But I do agree, they do look slightly strange, and they don't seem to swim as well as the other, too much tail. Like my goldfish, fig fat and clumsy!!! Haha
