Marshall = 1 Water Change =0:

Sorry I'm posting so much guys. I'm sure you'll all get a laugh at what a girl I am in this video. I did end up getting attacked, but no blood was shed. I'm going to apparently have to rethink my water change habits, as this new behavior is not awesome. Anyways, enjoy laughing at me. Lol

Great looking tank, and I love the fact that you are using the Aqueon WC device like me. Don't be such a girl, he will probably bite you, and may even get a little blood, but that is a bonding moment! :laugh:

Is that aqueon wc device as effective as the python? I can get it at my petsmart as opposed to ordering the python for delivery. I just got done a massive 75 percent wc with 5 gal buckets and my shoulders are quite annoyed with me

Also what length of hose comes with it? I need approx 30 feet to safely reach my sink

I really liked the aqueon one i bought untill after about 6 months the valve blew in half while fully pressurized, ya the kitchen looked how youd imagine, and the replacement they sent me did the same. After that i built my own gravity siphon system and it was better and cheaper than anything out there and didnt waste water

Thanks. What scares me is if I'm at the tank siphoning and something goes hay wire at the sink I wouldn't even know. The concept is fantastic but as brutal as the 5 gal bucket system is I am 100 percent in control and aware of what's going on.

Great video Jen. It's fun watching that oscar ... he's so energetic.

@ Bri - if you don't want to use a python then try getting one or two 40 gallon bins from home depot or lowes. With a 40g container I can empty out half of my tank, use a pump connected to a garden hose to pump it out, fill that or another container with fresh water and use the pump and water hose to refill the aquarium. Like the buckets you can see what's going on and it's very easy.
