hello, i have two red oscars. i see several very, very small reddish little line looking things swimming around in my aquarium. maybe babies or a type of worm? thanks for any help!

Could well be the little critters that flourish in the tank if you overfeed, or if there was any food left over. They sometimes come in on plants. I think you'd know if they were baby Oscars. You will have seen your Oscars lay eggs and hatched them.

Look at your feeding routine, are you putting too much food in? Is there any food left in the tank that you don't remove. Give the tank a good clean, at removing some water and vacuum your substrate i.e. Gravel or sand

Try and ascribe these little critters a little better. I am turning an now, so it will probably be tomorrow when I come back on

thanks for the reply. must be some kind of worm then. i have added 3 java fern very recently, maybe they came in on the plants. i will do the water change and clean my sand extra well! thanks again.
