Tank looks really clean, great job! Fish looks good also.
Where did you get the stand or what brand is it, I share some of Darths concerns that it may not be adequate for the weight of the tank. I have some storage shelving in my garage that has a very high weight capacity on the box, but since the particle board shelves have no center bracing they tend to sag over time, and if you add moisture from water changes then you could be looking for a real problem. Please post as much information about the stand as possible.

Sure you can return it. Take it apart, put it back in the box it came in and tell them it dont fit where you wanted to put it. Then get the 63 buck petco stand. No problem.

Believe me, anything that gets assembled, can be dis-assembled. It aint welded. If you mean you hammered expansion pins, they will come out, but if you are worried about breaking it, then I guess you can make it work. Are the shelves all metal? I would put the tank on the bottom shelf and go with an Aquaclear 110 and an Emperor 400 for final filtration. Canisters dont function as well without a minimum distance from the canister top to the tank rim. You wont have enough height.

Doing good, just working way too much lately. Dovii is good but still hates me or his tiny tank! Can't find anything on CL, so I am a week or two away from paying $400 for a 125. Need to post about my "O"s anyway. Hope you are well.

I worked in big box retail for a number of years, and if you got it from Lowes, then they will refund your money. I think you will be much happier with the tank at around 3' which will put your fish at eye level.
