You can add hot water when filling the tank to get the temp right. Just as you would with a water change. You can add the conditioner right away. No need to move the oscar out to put the decor in. Pour the gravel or sand in one side and move it around once it's all in the tank. The oscar will goto the other side. Also just place the decor in the tank being careful not to set or drop anything on him. Your bacteria will take longer than 4 weeks to establish in your filter. It will help if you move the media from your existing filter to the new filter or run the old filter on the new tank as well as the new filter. Place your heater in the corner for now up and down with the cord draped out over the back of the tank, it shouldn't float and should be fine there until you figure out a way to fix it to the glass. As soon as your conditioner is in the tank and water right temp. Move your oscar to the tank and setup your filters and turn them on.

Go do a water change - the solution to pollution is dilution.

If it is possible to take a little media out of the old to add to the new, that will help. Provided the old tank is even cycled. You can squeeze out a dirty sponge from the old filter into the new tank. There will be bacteria in this mulm that will kick start your cycle. How long has the old tank been running? Is there a LFS that will give or sell some cycled media to you? Or a friend that has tanks

If you have the new filter get it going on the old tank as well.

the new filter wouldnt work i dont think its too big cause its a whisper i30-60 i think is what the man said who sold me it on craigslist but how cani take the media out my old filtration ? its those padthings it comes with n its been up for about 4 weeks i believe my old tank, and im not sure thats a good question but i dont think any of my lfs have a 110 aquaclear to sell thats bacteria'ed up , all the tank at petco / petsmart arnt really big so i dont think theyll have that but doesnt hurt to ask ^^ and also what about my pictus catfish (2) in my 20 gal with my oscar? leave them in there without bacteria filter ;o? or what should i do ,

Far from ideal, but your O must get in the 55 asap. Put him and the cats in the 55, run the existing filter in conjunction with a new one until you get a full cycle. Monitor water quality to determine water change necessities. Keep ammonia and nitrite at .25, when they get as close to 0 as possible, and you start to show nitrate, you can remove the cats. This is the main flaw with cartridge filters, they are a poor bio filter to begin with, and transferring media makes them even more useless
