PM sent was a message to me from jack ignore that

I didn't call you an idiot I was just stating that being messed up on something is not an excuse for acting like an idiot we've had multiple instances on this forum of people being drunk or messed up on something and causing fights and problems and then try to blame it on being messed like that makes it ok. If I was quoting you I would have quoted you, the quotation marks just signify a statement in general

You being messed up is affecting you right now your not understanding what people are telling you to help and you're asking the same questions over and over again even though they been answered. Your questions don't make much sense and your posts are hard to follow say the least. We all want to help you that's why we're here you're just making it kinda difficult

Put your new filter and your old filter from the 20 on the 55 and put all the fish in the tank as well. Once the filters are established on the new tank then you can add a new filter to the 55 and put the original 20 gal filter back on the20 gal tank. When I got started, I would buy the same type of filter I had on another tank so I could use the old filter pad in the new filter to speed up the cycling process. Then you can move the pictus back into the 20. I hope you continue to post questions here, the members here really know what they are talking about, and I am sure you will find any information you need.

That's great that your taking such an interest and wanting to do things right. You won't get too much difference of opinions here, there is only one way to do it right. Right tank, right filtration, right water changes, and right diet. Everybody here will agree to put everything you've got on the bigger tank until all your filters are cycled then move the cats to the smaller tank with the smaller filter.

Go do a water change - the solution to pollution is dilution.
