I ran into an issue withe my 150 gallon tank and had to move my 3 little (less than 4") oscars to a 30 gallon aquarium ( established tank no other fish) will I be able to get by for a month or two until I can come up with funds to replace large tank I understand the importance of a clean tank and figured that I would have to do partial water changes more frequently

Hello and welcome to our community.

It sounds like you don't really have any other options. So obviously the answer will have to be yes, but you will have to keep a very close check on the water quality. Thankfully, you are not in the position where you are trying to keep very large fish in a small aquarium so I do think that you will be okay. However, I would certainly feed sparingly whilst they are in this environment. I know that they are growing Oscars and need to be fed, but be okay for a little while. You're better off under feeding them slightly than feeling a lot and having a problem with water quality. What sort of filter have you got installed on the 30 gallon aquarium? I wonder if you had the foresight to try and put the filter from the big tank onto the 30 gallon tank, if that is possible of course.

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)

If they dont turn on each other, they may get by. Change water every day. Stress from overcrowding is a real health hazard, so a couple months may be dangerous for them. Can you separate them? Im thinking 30g Rubbermaid tubs, if you have enough equipment to operate 3 dif tanks?

Thank you guys for the responses if I cannot drum up a tank within the next weak or two i will end up using the Rubbermaid container route. Hooking up a filtration system to that wouldn't be all that difficult or expensive I have been keeping an eye on them they do not seem aggressive towards one another yet there definitely is a dominant one and the others just follow him around this is my first time with Oscar's they are very cool fish when I walk into the room they act like little puppies that are hungry :)
