Lets hope they get along. The new guy looks to me to be male. Sort of an educated guess on my part, as sexing Oscars is difficult to impossible at the best of times. Didnt get a good look at Fatguts from your vid. I find all photobucket videos jumpy. Better to go thru YouTube. IF you have 2 males, that wont work. Wont take long to find out... good luck.

Hmmm.. they look similar. Could be a problem. I may also be totally wrong. If I may offer a suggestion... clear some of that deco out. Its taking up a lot of swimspace, and more room the better to help these two possibly get along.

And tigger is a bit bigger and hes taking control of the tank not attacking fg but just standing his ground and fg has turned into a sook

Oscars always sook when something changes in their environment lol. Keep a close eye out for any aggression but it sounds like you may have gotten lucky and that these two will get along alright. I might be wrong, but I'm fairly certain that if a dominance hierarchy is quickly established and the less dominant fish doesn't contest the other for the 'top' spot that they tend to get along ok.

If it doesn't stop, or if it escalates then that could be a problem because it'll stress fg out, but that's pretty much exactly what happened between my O and severum when they were first put together and it stopped after a while.
In my experience it took about a week for the full on aggressive stuff to dissipate, but the intimidation stuff lasted a couple of months.
I added a severum to my established oscar's tank, and it pretty much went:
1: First 10 minutes: Henry (oscar) chases Adie (severum) like mad
2: Second 10 minutes: Adie gets annoyed and nips Henry, Henry panics and flails away.
3: First week: Adie nips Henry if he goes near her, Henry spends most of his time flailing backwards into corners and looking sad.
3: Second week - first month: Adie intimidates Henry, Henry flails backwards. Henry nips Adie when her back's turned, she retaliates, he flails into a corner.
4: Second month - a couple of months ago: Adie occasionally approaches Henry looking big and mean, Henry flails backwards - no more nipping from either.
5: A month or two ago - now: The two adorable idiots act like they've paired up
cue nest-making and a confused Henry following Adie everywhere.
